The Salone Internazionale del Mobile is known as one of the major landmarks for design and home furnishing and the exhibition has become increasingly popular over the past few years, in spite of the global crisis. ASUS will be holding their own at the FuoriSalone, Via Tortona 35.

In 2010, there were over 290 thousand accredited visitors to the Salone Internazionale del Mobile, of which 56 percent came from international locations. The show also boasted a significant media presence with around 5110 journalists attending from across the globe.

Clearly an experience not to be missed, the Salone Internazionale del Mobile will run from 12-17 April and feature several amazing events under the name of FuoriSalone. The FuoriSalone is often considered something of an autonomous event that boasts plenty of activities and experiences alongside the official exhibition.

ASUS’s presence has been given the title of ASUS Senses Remix – an exhibit blending sound, vision and touch to inspire and excite the senses. Showcasing the latest innovations and artwork from ASUS Design, this exhibit will reveal the hard work of the past year ,and products that have been created to embody the essence of design and functionality.

Members of the press have been invited to enjoy the range of technology that ASUS has laid on for their enjoyment at Milan Fashion Week, and it is unlikely they’ll be disappointed. Many of ASUS’ products have already been recognised by the coveted red dot awards. Especially their latest products – the Eee Slate and the Eee Transformer – which have received critical approval from many technology reviewers.

So, if you happen to be a journalist with a penchant for design, then where will you be for that week in April? For missing an event as inspired and exciting as this would be a tragedy indeed.
