We’ve all read about ET2410 All-in-One PC when it was featured here back in September.

Now, ASUS has gone one better and introduced the ET2700 Series, the world’s first Windows-based 27” All-in-One PC with a 10-point capacitive touch display.

From the outset, the ET2700 is all about multimedia performance. It features ASUS’ very own SonicMaster technology and also comes with DTS Surround Sensation UltraPC technology; the former comes with a finely-tuned digital signal processor that produces each note clearly without any distortions, while the latter aids in providing true-to-life sound. Its optional external subwoofer and twin 3.5W speakers with 580cc resonance chambers aid low-range frequency audio for deeper, richer bass. I know it’s hard to imagine, so check out the video of the SonicMaster technology demo.

The ET2700 comes with a 27” high contrast 1920 x 1080 LED back-lit display. It has a vertical alignment (VA) panel that eliminates color-shifts and has wide viewing angles of up to 178°, both vertically and horizontally. Just in case your stash of music and movies isn’t enough, tick the right boxes on the options list and you can spec up your ET2700 with a Blu-ray combo drive or a built-in TV-tuner card.

ASUS prides itself in having produced the first 27” All-in-One PC with a capacitive 10-point touch screen that allows fingertip pinch-zoom, swipe and scroll controls An onscreen keyboard lets you work the ET2700 without the need for a physical keyboard or mouse.

The ET2700 also comes with two USB 3.0 ports, an eSATA/USB 2.0 port and an SD card reader on its side panels; while an HDMI port turns it into a display that’s compatible with most gaming consoles.
