Motherboards as Cities!
ASUS has just launched a new flash game, called DIGITON. As the name implies, it’s all about creating digital towns, hence “DIGITON”. Nothing to do with weight! DIGITON is a fun and colourful online game created by ASUS to highlight the features included on its new P8Z68 motherboards, and it revolves around picking and choosing eight unique ASUS technologies as building blocks in the construction of a new interactive town. The order in which these eight are implemented is entirely up to you, so each time you play, you can come up with a different town. The art style is very attractive and cute, and as a new technology is put in place, the town (or DIGITON, to give it its proper name) visibly evolves and changes right before your eyes.

The logic of the game is that crafting a good motherboard is very much like city planning. Careful consideration, an emphasis on quality and the benefit of users (or residents) are all front and centre, and the whole is made up of many parts that must be balanced and harmonised. Come to think of it, the DIGITON moniker may well reflect some heft after all, as there’s a tonne of options to consider!
Choose wisely, because DIGITON is a competitive game, and each town created gets posted online to be evaluated. The best towns stand to net their creators nifty prizes, including some of the latest motherboards from ASUS.
