ASUS seems to have been resting casually at the top of the tech news for the most of 2013 so far, and their introduction of the ASUS Cube. As yet there is no talk on whether or not it will arrive in the UK, but that doesn’t stop me from having a little bit of a tech moment about the cutest darn thing ever.
Not only does the ASUS Cube (Or Qube as it was called at CES earlier this year) look good but it is coming in at a low price point in the US with a release date of, well, today! This Google TV set-top box has a few very cool little tricks up its sleeve and is something of a leader in the realm, and a crowd pleaser.
Here you have two HDMI ports, USB port, an Ethernet port, Wi-Fi, and an IR emitter port wrapped in a neat little box. The design is superb and will look rather dashing in any TV room, not taking up a lot of space but still standing out in all the right ways.
The ASUS Cube has voice search and a remote for easy access to their menu, features and, of course, Google TV.
What makes this device so unique is the array of features built into such a compact device. You have a superb menu system, complete interconnectivity with Google TV and you can even work seamlessly with your Android phone or tablet. Take a look and let us know what you think…
