Worlds Apart

A little town of motherboards.

Having impressed renowned Taiwanese artist and illustrator, Jimmy Liao, ASUS designers were invited to Mr. Liao’s art exhibition titled, “How to own a corner.”

Starting from the basic feelings of joy and happiness, ASUS designers thought and created their Little Motherboard Worlds. Using old motherboard components the team built six unique miniature worlds that together tell a story of the balance between technology, nature and having fun.

The story is as follows:

Through the urban jungle to a city office, his life is squeezed into a tiny corner.
Until, one day on the subway, he fell into his dreams.
He found this was a world without computers,
And in his dreams, he enjoyed every moment.
In waking, he realized there are many great experiences in life still waiting.

Have you found your happiness?
Maybe it’s hidden in the sweet smell of crops in the countryside,
Or in the star-filled constellation patterns at night,
Or perhaps in the beloved theme park of your childhood?

Actually, there is happiness in every corner of the world.
You just have to find it.
