If you didn’t quite grasp the penetration of Facebook into our daily lives yet, this is pretty eye-opening. The Facebook app is more popular than any Google app in the Android market, where Smartphone and tablet penetration has passed the likes of Google Search, Google Maps, and Gmail.
The research was conducted by Nielsen, a global marketing and advertising research company, in its survey titled “App-Happy with Android: The Most Popular Android Apps by Age“ .
