You might have caught a sign of the early sample back at Computex, and we reported it on earlier in the year right here at Tech in Style, but we’ve finally got our hands on the mass production model of ASUS’ new 1015T.

AMD’s latest V105 CPU based on its 2010 ultra-thin ‘Nile’ platform runs at just 9W, and what it loses in clock speed to competing parts, it makes up for in “desktop CPU” hardware.

The new Eee Dock utility provides ninja fast access to ASUS webtools for those who use them. If you don’t use though, it then it can be easily disabled. Oh, and above, that’s the usual 0.3M pixel camera but now comes with an integrated camera cover for added privacy – now there’s no chance of someone remotely turning it on without you knowing!

Here’s something you don’t find on many, if any 10.1″ netbooks: a HDMI port. As part of its Radeon graphics, it has a universal video decoder built in under the ‘Avivo HD‘ brand, which takes the strain off the CPU. This means it’s not only an incredibly portable 10.1″ netbook that’ll fit in most bags, but plug into a monitor or HDTV and you’ve got 1080p playback thrown in, plus a massive hard drive to store all those movies on too!
