This week has definitely become an award week for me. As I’ve become more and more aware of how many awards there are for tech companies, I’ve become increasingly amazed at how many ASUS have gone home with. Seriously, I have no idea where they put them all.
In March alone ASUS won a Leading Brand of Market Share award from MicroComputer magazine for their Notebook range, the Editor’s choice award for the N53S, the Overclocker’s Club Gold Award for the Maximus IV Extreme, the Most Popular and Best Buy Awards for the U36JC, the Editor’s Choice Award from PC Perspective for the ENGTS450, the Must Have award for the UL ENGTX550 Ti and many more.
That’s just March. And these awards span the world including Taiwan, China, United States, United Kingdom and Poland. That is very definitely an international flavour if you ask me. And a lot of recognition for ASUS products.
The ENG TX550i TiDC got around five awards alone, with many of the other products following closely behind. I would like to point out that I am still looking at the awards won in March. Considering it isn’t even the end of the month yet, I am worried they may need to hire a warehouse to store all these accolades.
So what are the themes that emerge from these accolades? The first is that ASUS products are seen as reliable and that they deliver on their performance promise. These are difficult boxes to tick when you think of how few things in this world offer reliability and quality. To achieve recognition in these spheres, and so regularly, is an achievement indeed.
When you invest in technology you’re not putting down a mere pound or two, there is often quite a bit of money at stake. You don’t want to risk buying something that won’t deliver, or that will collapse after a few months of use. These awards are just a small part of how this company has focused on customer service and on delivering reliability. And they look set to carry on a fine tradition.
