Nvidia has just uploaded a YouTube video demonstrating the upcoming Eee Pad Transformer Prime running Google’s next gen Android operating system, dubbed ‘Ice Cream Sandwich’, running on its brand new Tegra 3 quad-core processor.
This is more significant than it sounds tasty as the combination of new OS and Tegra 3 gives the Transformer Prime a performance that’s unparalleled in the current market, which you can see for yourself below. The video shows an incredibly smooth and natural experience, which takes advantage of Google’s new transition effects, multitasking and features like full 1080p playback. Ice Cream Sandwich apps will also be easier to find on the Android Marketplace, which will in turn promote tablet apps and games with better graphics and richer features. Win-win.

While the Transformer Prime will currently only ship with Android 3.2 for now, the free 4.0 (ICS) update is due early in the New Year, so stay tuned!
