3D movies on the big screen are attracting large audiences back to cinemas and theatres – and ASUS is at the forefront of bringing 3D pictures into homes and offices.

By the end of this year, ASUS plans to have a range of full-HD widescreen monitors capable of displaying the best 3D images.

Starting with the 23in MG236, ASUS’ line-up of 3D monitors support dual-link DVI connectivity for 3D playback at full high-definition resolutions of up to 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. The 23.6in PG246 and 27in PG276 models will follow later this year.

All of ASUS’ initial range of 3D displays will be ready for use with NVIDIA’s 3D Vision system – a set of wireless shutter glasses that employ synchronised lenses to produce a stunning 3D experience at 60 frames per second (fps).
