As beautiful as the ASUS ZENBOOK might be, there are some who might find it a little bit too flash (particularly if you are using the Hot Pink version) for the boardroom. So if a shirt and tie is more your style, the ASUS ASUSPRO Series BU400 ultrabook might be the one for you.

Designed for professional business, the BU400’s smart, sharp lines are a tad more reserved when compared with other ASUS ultrabook offerings. Tough and durable, it has passed ASUS’ stringent quality tests and features carbon-reinforced construction and anti-shock hard drives to protect data. Despite this, it tips the scales at a lightweight 1.64kg.

The BU400 sports sophisticated design touches and has a keyboard geared towards comfort and typing accuracy. Similarly, the enlarged touchpad supports more gesture controls. For the display, the BU400 uses anti-glare wide-view angle panels that deliver HD and HD+ resolutions. The soon to be released BU400A model will feature a multi-point touch screen – expect that to come your way early next year.

The ultra-slim chassis houses 3rd generation Intel® Core™ processors with vPro™ technology. It also employs Intel® Small Business Advantage and Intel® Smart Connect – both to suit the requirements of business users. In terms of security, a smart self-encrypting design keeps data secure. Additional security measures include Trusted Platform Module hardware and fingerprint readers. Intel® Anti-Theft technology and Computrace® LoJack® for Laptops help retrieve lost or stolen notebooks along with additional data protection.
