Congratulations to the ASUS Transformer Pad 300, it has just been bitten by the Jelly Bean and it is one of the first devices to get this very tasty update outside of the big buildings that are Google Headquarters.
The weekend saw the ASUS Transformer 300 Pad owners staring at the tasty new OS and its shiny new dock before almost anybody else. The Jelly Bean, or Android 4.1, system has been well rated by critics for delivering a smooth performance, improved notifications, and plenty other useful features.
The Jelly Bean interface gives ASUS Transformer Pad 300 owners access to Google Now, the new personalised search application by Google (obviously) that recognises the types of search you do and delivers information that’s relevant to you in the shape of cards. These are updated and added throughout the day so you always have access to the search results that are the most recent and relevant.
There are plenty of other Jelly Bean features worth looking at and if you are holding the ASUS Transformer Prime or ASUS Transformer Infinity, never fear, for ASUS has already confirmed that all their tablets will be getting the updated to Android 4.1. Hang in there, your turn will come…
