On Wednesday, ASUS announced several new additions to the ASUS N Series of multimedia notebooks. The N46, N56 and N76 are said to exemplify the ASUS DNA concept – a radical new standard in ASUS design thinking that is aimed towards customer happiness. The focus is on attractive design, aesthetic appeal, professional-grade audio as well as excellent visuals – all in the name of better user experiences.
Here’s a look at some of the outstanding features.
SonicMaster Premium
ASUS understands that sound holds a vital place in everyday life. Following the success of SonicMaster, ASUS pushes notebook audio to a new level with SonicMaster Premium. This is the brainchild of ASUS audio engineers and audio specialists over at Bang & Olufsen ICEpower®; this innovation utilizes optimized audio hardware coupled with a dedicated external subwoofer and professional-grade Waves MaxxAudio 3 tools to deliver meticulously tuned sound with extensive personalization options.
A wider, brighter view
All new N Series notebooks feature advanced wide-view panels (150゚horizontal by 120゚vertical viewing angles). Optimized for shared viewing, these panels do not compromise image quality even when viewed from extreme angles. Every panel offers at least 720p HD, and optional panels support Full HD 1080p for even finer image quality with improved clarity, brightness, and contrast.
Lavish design with style
The new design features an attractive hairline-etched metallic cover and an illuminated ASUS logo. A unique ripple-effect speaker mesh is added to visualize the flow of sound provided by SonicMaster Premium. It’s a design that has already secured the coveted 2012 reddot design award. Need we say more?
More strength than before
These new additions harness the power of 3rd generation Intel® Core™ processors, with Ivy Bridge technology to support enhanced processor output and overclocking, smoother multimedia and wider-ranging multitasking capabilities. The exclusive ASUS Super Hybrid Engine II power consumption management technology enables true 2-second instant on resume from deep sleep, giving the N Series smartphone-like responsiveness.
