Common, that’s just cool. The Dalai Lama on Google+ Hangout? What’s next, The Pope tweeting away? Oh wait, Pope Benedict is already tweeting away.

For those of you who don’t know, Google+ is Google’s latest social media network, and the Hangout feature lets a group of people video chat at the same time. Think Skype video, but with multiple people and anyone can join or leave as they wish. Kind of like a real hangout?

The Dalai Lama was originally supposed to hang out (in real life) with Archbishop Desmond Tutu in South Africa. However, due to visa issues, the holy leader was denied entry. That can’t stop the Dalai Lama though, oh no. A Google+ Hangout was orchestrated between the two spiritual leaders, and anyone with a Google+ account was able to join the Hangout!

Unfortunately, I missed this event due to an error in time conversion, but you can find the full video of the event below.
