Our good friends from ASUS just informed us that a new video has gone online, entirely made by ASUS themselves with some really awesome graphics. I personally thought it was footage from a game, but it’s all made especially for this video. The clip shows off the many flexible features of GPU Tweak, a utility bundled with ASUS graphics cards. It allows for easy yet quite intricate software overclocking and overvolting of graphics cards, and the latest version works with pretty much any GPU from any brand, not just ASUS-made cards.
It also adds a few new features, like 2D/3D mode locking (so the GPU doesn’t fluctuate as much, resulting in “cleaner” benchmarks), live BIOS and driver updates, voltage and clock syncing, and the ability to control up to four cards in SLI or CrossFireX. There’s even a new OSD info widget that doesn’t take up much in the way of system resources, and ASUS has been cooperating with Techpowerup to integrate GPU-Z into GPU Tweak for even more detailed graphics card tracking.
Check out this rather awesome video right here!
Suds McSoapdish
Thirty years ago, toddler Suds got his first taste of just how enjoyable technology can be when his parents gave him an Atari 2600. He soon picked up on the wonders of the Commodore 64, and the rest is history in the form of a long list of consoles, 80’s home computers and PCs built and assembled with great fervor. Writing and technology gradually moved up from hobbies to professions as Suds became the man he is today, and although he’s worked and traveled the world and experienced many things, technology, especially computing and gaming, has remained a solid constant.
