Have you ever wondered what it would be like to build your own PC from scratch and then dismissed the idea because it looked too difficult, and possibly too time consuming? Well, now you can. ASUS has put together a series of tutorial videos that walk you through building your own PC from start to finish. From the processor to the motherboard, from the chassis to the various other components required, every step is covered.
The videos are funny. Well, I find them funny. They don’t use heavy terminology and don’t try too hard and make building a custom PC look, well, easier than figuring out how to use your new coffee machine. The first video, below, looks at the motherboard, processor and memory. The motherboard in question is the very tasty ASUS P8Z77-V Deluxe motherboard which supports the latest Intel chips and the third generation processors coming up.
This motherboard features pretty much everything you need to get your custom built PC up and running with the latest components and lots of tasty power. If you are a newcomer to the world of home built PCs, then this is a good board to star with as it provides you with all the tools you need to create something rather special, without having to embark on a ferocious learning curve to get totally tech and jiggy with it.
So, go on, get your kit and your tech head on, and I’ll see you on the other side…
