The answer, according to the ASUS Automobili Lamborghini VX7 is yes, a notebook SHOULD do some roaring. And some speeding, zooming, gleaming and sparkling. This new notebook from ASUS is about to be launched onto shelves near you and it promises some pretty powerful stuff.
The quad-core Intel Core i7 second generation processors and snuggled inside (or should I say, inserted by trained racing technicians?), and it is the world’s first ever notebook to boast dedicated nVidia GeForce GTX 460M graphics. Yes, you read that correctly, the ASUS Automobili Lamborghini VX7 is another world first from ASUS.
I am rather proud of them, can’t you tell?
The VX7 has a 15.6inch display, a dual 750GB hard drive setup, USB 3.0, 8GB Ram, DDR3 SDRAM, and Windows 7 Ultimate preloaded. This is a pretty impressive machine that can handle multimedia, entertainment, and productivity with ease.
There is something very satisfying about technology that can handle pretty much anything you throw at it. I doubt that the ASUS Automobili VX7 can make you coffee in the morning so it can’t quite do everything…
The VX7 has also got that lovely extra bonus of being coloured in the licensed colours of Lamborghini. You can choose between either orange or black carbon fibre and there are lovely little finishes that encapsulate that Lamborghini feeling – the vents, the grills, the touchpad.
Overall, this is a truly delicious piece of kit that anyone would love. Me, I adore the orange one. I love the colour and I adore it on a notebook.
