Well, that’s what The Gadget Showwere trying to decide yesterday by putting the two gadgets through their paces. In usual Gadget Show style, the team were set a number of challenges to use the tech to the best of it’s abilities and ASUS’ Eee PC Seashell 1005PEG did a dam good job!

The first challenge revolved around ease-of-use and connectivity when it comes to finding, downloading and playing music. Now, the plucky Suzi Perry did start the challenge with the Archos 5, a fully functional media player that could download music via wi-fi, but there was no wi-fi connection available! So, enter the ASUS Eee PC Seashell 1005PEG, with 3G capabilities, 1G Ram, 160GB hard drive and a built in webcam. The challenge was lost, but showed the capabilities of the Eee PC.

The full Qwerty keyboard proved to be a winner for challenge two, and the 10” LED Backlit screen and smooth, quick 3G connectivity aided in further victory for the third challenge.
