A day in the life of my Asus Eee Pad Transformer

Becky – BabyBudgeting.co.uk

Last week I went on a press trip to Center Parcs (how lucky!) .  I took alomg my Eee Pad and I wanted to test how useful it was. Here’s a day in the life:

5.30 am.  Small child tried to make me get up I checked the Eee Pad saw the time told them to hot foot it back to bed.

6.30am Woken again. Checked the Eee Pad and it told me I was in Nottingham and it was 16 degrees. Useful. Got ourselves dressed accordingly.

8 am. Could not remember what we had planned today so checked my emails on the Eee Pad until I found the schedule.

11 a.m Swimming over and mum needs to tweet about her trip – hello again Eee Pad.

Noon: Now I’m  making lunch. Son using Eee Pad to play Angry Birds and hubby and daughter feeding squirrels. peaceful times.

1pm. Kids off on pony ride  I’m taking lots of photos with the Eee Pad. It’s so versatile!

3pm  Kids playing on Center Parcs beach. Me? Well I have my feet warming in the sand, browsing YouTube on the Eee Pad to see what other people think of Sherwood Forest Center Parcs.

5pm. Made a little video for my blog about what I thought of this trip. A really easy way to provide a review AND I held it myself! Look here it is…….it uploaded to you tube quickly and with just one push of the button.

10 pm Relaxing in bed reading Mini Shopohilic which I had downloaded to my  kindle which I can fully access for free on my Eee Pad. Wonderful. What a great day.

Night night Eee Pad you have worked so hard for me today  but you haven’t broke my back lugging you about, you have been discreet, light, useful  and robust enough to stand my 6 year old son.

I think you are awesome, you can come on holiday again.

Would someone like to send me and the Eee Pad to review Disney now?

I love the way absolutely everything you do in the day in some way involved the Eee Pad. This is how life should be lived…. always connected and always informed of the latest useful info.

Hey, don’t get greedy. You already got to see the Disney store on Oxford Street. ;-) It surely must be our turn for a decent press trip like Centre Parcs or Disney. :-D And I would happily take one of these ‘ere Eee Pad Transformers too.

I love this review.  I must admit to not knowing much about the Eee Pad Transformer.  I now know most of what I need to know and it sounds like a fantastic piece of equipment.  I want one now!!

I’ve had the Asus EeePC Linux edition from way back so i’ve been impressed by them for a long time and it seems they’ve evolved the Eee series into something that could genuinely compete with the other tablets out there. I still travel with the EeePC and this seems a natural replacement for that
