It isn’t easy to win nine awards at the iF Design Awards, but ASUS has managed the feat in 2013. The event took place at the BMW Welt exhibition in Munich and saw 4,352 products presented for the judges to approve and admire. The iF seal of quality is respected worldwide and is only awarded to products that stand out in the three disciplines of product, communication and packaging design.
Nine of ASUS’ products were selected to win an award including: PadFone 2, ASUS Taichi, VariDrive Media Dock, ASUS Zenbook, Republic of Gamers G46 gaming notebook, Republic of Gamers Tytan CG8890 gaming desktop, ASUSPRO B Advanced Series BU400 business ultrabook, ASUS X series notebook and the VN Series monitor.
Eight of the products received the iF Product Design awards thanks to their chic design and performance – notably the PadFone 2 and the ASUS Taichi. The ASUS VariDrive Media Dock received an iF Packaging Design Award for Design and Engineering Excellence.
Well done ASUS, another year of superb design and excellence in product creativity and technology!
It is worth noting that last year, at the 2012 iF Design Awards, ASUS won ten awards, and if you look at their ASUSDesign website you will see the long and impressive list of awards that they have won since the start of 2012. They did extremely well last year and it looks like they are off to a good start in 2013…
