ASUS looks to create a wireless world of entertainment with the introduction of the ASUS VivoPC. It can be used as media center designed to provide you with HD Wi-Fi streaming and quality sound through its SonicMaster speakers.

The ASUS VivoPC has a spun-metal finish akin to those found on other ASUS offerings, so there’s no doubting the bloodline of this product. Its chic, compact lines make it ideal for any room in the house, not that it matters where it’s placed as it provides HD quality entertainment as long as there is access to a high speed 802.11ac connection.

Despite its small size, it can easily accommodate a 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch SATA 6Gb/s hard disk drive. It also has two USB 3.0 ports for easy and fast data transfers.

In complete control
The ASUS VivoMouse isn’t your regular point and click mouse and it shows –ASUS has taken the concept further and provided us with a mouse and a touchpad. Finished in dark grey and silver, the unorthodox VivoMouse might raise an eyebrow or two, but you soon realize that its alien lines make it ideal as a touchpad, mouse, and remote control.

The ASUS VivoMouse is designed to bring the Windows 8 touch experience to users who use the operating system without a touch display. The VivoMouse recognizes Windows 8 touch gestures and lets you use it as you would a notebook trackpad.
It can be used as a remote control for home entertainment PCs like you would your TV remote. Ergonomically-designed to sit in the palm of your hand, the VivoMouse gives you complete control over the onscreen cursor.

Everywhere entertainment
And to ensure that you get your music stream anywhere in the house, the ASUS RP-N53 wireless 600Mbps dual-band range extender ensures a strong signal in every nook and cranny of your home.

What’s great about the RP-N53 is that it can be effortlessly set up with just one click. It allows you to set aside a dedicated band for HD streaming and gaming at 5GHz; with another for specifically for Wi-Fi web browsing on the 2.4GHz bandwidth. The RP-N53 also has the capacity to stream music from a USB storage device.
