A never-before seen ASUS Tablet

Gentle edges, complementary tones, and a little bump with a clip.  ASUS Design Team also clearly has their fingerprint on this one.

ASUS Design

ASUS Design Team-Designed. Lots of designing then!

Subtle tones and a bump

A clip on a tablet?

A clip? What for?

We’ll reveal more next week at the ASUS Computex press conference on 30th May, so drop back then!

Tablet that docks INSIDE a larger monitor that can be docked with a keyboard ala A500….COOL!

Looks beautiful, at least from these pics. I’m guessing it’s a smaller tablet, which doesn’t mess with my plans to get a Transformer.

A tablet powered by a phone.

The phone is a house for the “engine”. When docked in a large screen then we have a tablet. if you want to talk, just remove the phone. Brilliant!!!!!!!

If it come with HDMI and bluetooth, then you can connect to a monitor, and keyboard/mouse, mirror the UI, and, voilá, we have a desktop.

    Desktops, netbooks and notebooks: R.I.P.

I hope it doesn’t use cheaply painted plastic. Those buttons and such on older ASUS devices wear out so quickly, and hopefully the high-gloss plastic I see isn’t that soft stuff either that scratches extremely easily.

I think rather a range of product that would work on Android with a main module using technologies MODU. This module would be the core of each product.

    Sorry I’m French !

so wait.. am i supposed to wait until after may 30th to decide whether or not to purchase the not-currently-in-stores asus transformer from bestbuy.com? all this tablet talk is stressing out my wallet. it’s like the money’s already gone, but to what, it has no idea yet.

Grab the Transformer! You won’t be disappointed. ASUS will be announcing it but likely not launching until refined. Computex is always about announcements :)

Somebody has finally decided to have a docakble phone inside a larger tablet. The Motorola Atrix without a viewable docking station that sticks out the back, You finally just get to slide yur phone inside the tablet and away you go. With a blue tooth headset you have your phone and a dockable keyboard like the Transformer makes this the ultimate enterprise tablet. Take the phone out and slide it in your pocket and the screen is left in the bag.

Tablets are cool and handy the apps on a tablet are very useful, but cant replace a PC. The next wave is here and the bottom tier still have it’s spot thanks Apple and Android. Asus and other tech companies are moving us farther along thanks to Intel, Nvidia, Qualcom and the mobile chip manufactures for leading the way to make it possible for us to have our PC’s in pure tablet form. I’m waiting for the next evolution of tablet’s in PC form.
