It sounds like the start of a fairy tale. Once upon a time there was this lovely maiden, we shall call her ASUS, and she came upon a land of, erm, people who could work magic with their hands. Unfortunately, one of these people worked a dark and terrible magic and out of the night came the RoG Tytan G70 and it scared everyone so much that they went into games development to pacify the beast.

Tytan G70

The Tytan G70 was only calm when it was fed a regular diet of incredibly demanding games that make it sweat and bleed performance and power and the people were happy and ASUS smiled and all was well with the land. The man (or woman) who had created this dark magic was given a special workshop and told to – Do it again, or else.

The ASUS RoG Tytan G70 gaming desktop is something that dreams are made of, really, as it boasts the kind of power and performance that make me want to fall to my knees and give it a bit of a cuddle. It has taken all the elements of last year’s RoG Tytan CG8890 chassis and the G30 features and popped them all together into one lovely machine.

You get an integrated water-cooling system along with a 10-way venting design and 10 cooling fans. There is also the latest Nvidia GeForce GTX780 graphics card with the option to game in 3D (which is honestly not my thing), and instant four-core overclocking. PLUS you can enjoy the fourth generation Intel Core i7-4770K processor, one-click Turbo Gear overclocking, SonicMaster technology, MAxxAudio from Waves, an ASUS Wireless Charger so you can charge your smartphones and tablets wirelessly (only those that are compliant with the Qi inductive power standard, of course) and plenty more.

The beast even changes colour depending on your mood – an overclocking mad genius or chilled out gamer on the go. Have fun people, have fun. For this is a toy that everyone should be proud of.
