At CeBIT earlier this year ASUS revealed the existence of the ASUS O!Play Blu-ray HD Media Player BDS-700 and today I am holding it in my hand. Well, both hands actually, as the O!Play BDS-700 is a rather heavy piece of kit. It feels sturdy, as if it can take some wear and tear. But more about that later…

The O!Play BDS-700 Blu-ray HD Media Player is something of a mouthful in more than just its name. What you have here is a slice of technology that has a bunch of functionalities and features to make your home entertainment that much more, well, entertaining.

Over the next few weeks I am going to be marching this O!Play BDS-700 media player through as many paces and routines as possible. It may not escape unscathed but it will definitely reveal all its secrets.
