ASUS unveiled three new Eee PC Series at CeBIT this year and each takes the idea of netbook to a whole new level of style and sophistication.
Eee PC Seashell: 1015
First up is the next generation of Eee PC Seashell — the Eee PC 1015. This slim, stylish update to the Eee PC Seashell Series combines new colours, finishes and textures with amazing energy efficiency, and deliver up to 14 hours of battery life — with a removable battery.
A new screw-less design also makes for sleek exterior, while the interior features an isolated, low-profile keyboard with high contrast key legends, and a new touchpad that’s seamlessly integrated into the wide palm-rest.
Eee PC Diary 1016P
ASUS recognises that the Eee PC appeals to all kinds of user and the new Eee PC Diary Series has been designed specifically for mobile professionals who are looking for a reliable and long-lasting ultraportable.
The sophisticated good looks of the Eee PC Diary 1016 look equally at home in any environment, from boardroom to coffee shop. The use of such exquisite materials as brushed aluminium also ensure that the Eee PC 1012 with withstand the rigours of life on the road, while the long-lasting battery last all day — and then some.
Eee PC Prime 1018P
Portability is paramount for some Eee PC users, but few people are prepared to compromise screen size and keyboard comfort for the sake of a slimmer, lighter netbook. With the new Eee PC Prime 1018P, they won’t have to — it’s the thinnest Eee PC ASUS has ever produced, yet still packs an outstanding array of features.
Although only 18mm thick, the Eee PC 1018P incorporates the very latest in mobile technology, from USB 3.0 for ultra-fast data transfers, to a fingerprint reader for rock-solid security.
The gorgeous aluminium case is available in four chic colours, and encloses a frameless 10.1” LED-backlit display with a near-full size low-profile keyboard with large, isolated keys.

[...] My pick of the bunch is the 1018P, which is the thinnest Eee PC ASUS has ever produced, at 18mm thick. It has USB 3.0 ports, a fingerprint reader, and 10.1-inch LED-backlit screen. The tiled keyboard is almost full-sized, and it comes in four different colors. Pricing, availability, and other worthy tidbits of information haven’t been proffered just yet. [TechInStyle] [...]
